Biography

Anjana Ahuja was previously a staff columnist and feature writer for The Times in London. She is a freelance contributor to other media outlets, such as BBC Newsnight and Prospect magazine, and also regularly chairs or participate in public debates. She has a Ph.D. in space physics from Imperial College London, and a postgraduate diploma in newspaper journalism from City University, London. She has sat on committees at the Royal Society, the British Council and the British Science Association. She is a trustee of the charity Sense about Science, and a former school governor. She is affiliated with the Speakers for Schools program in the UK, which offers free motivational and career talks to public school students.
