Biography
Cynthia Graber is co-host/co-founder of the internationally popular and acclaimed podcast Gastropod, about the science and history of food. She’s also an award-winning print reporter and radio producer whose work has been featured in magazines and radio shows including Wired, Fast Company, the New Yorker, Studio 360, The World, and many others. She launched Gastropod with Nicola Twilley in 2014, entirely independently, and the show has since won “best culinary audio series” from the International Association of Culinary Professionals, as well as a regional Edward R. Murrow award. It was named “Boston’s best podcast” by the Improper Bostonian in 2016. They’ve taken Gastropod on the road, performing live at museums, science festivals, and stages around the country. Cynthia spent 2012-2013 as a Knight Science Journalism Fellow at MIT.
