Biography
Pamela Weintraub is currently psychology, neuroscience and medical editor of Aeon, the critically acclaimed big-ideas website known for its top-tier writing and reportage on science and culture; a contributing editor at Discover magazine; and frequent contributor to Psychology Today, Nautilus, and others. Prior to this, she worked as executive editor at Discover and eEditor in chief of OMNI, where she served as its primary feature acquisitions editor for more than a decade before taking the helm. She holds an M.S. in science journalism from Boston University and is author or co-author of 16 books, including the exposé Cure Unknown, which won first place for the American Medical Writers Association book award in 2009.
