Soledad Gouiric Cavalli

Soledad Gouiric Cavalli is a paleontologist in the Vertebrate Paleontology Division, at National University of La Plata (CONICET). She studies evolution and systematics (taxonomy) of Jurassic fishes in Argentina and Antarctica. She specializes in fish faunas from the Late Jurassic Vaca Muerta Formation of Argentina, one of the most important Jurassic marine ichthyofaunas of Gondwana. She formed part of two paleontological expeditions to Antarctica.
