Biography
Dick Thompson is a former Time Magazine science, medicine and environment correspondent; Time’s South Asia bureau chief; developer of the World Health Organization’s Best Practices for Outbreak Communications; communication adviser to WHO’s Director-General; adviser at Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting and fellow at MIT’s Vannevar Bush Science Journalism Fellowship. His is the author of Volcano Cowboys.
