Stephen Embleton

Stephen Embleton left an international career as a award-winning creative director in the advertising and design industry (and one of the panel of judges for the New York One Show Interactive Awards in 1999) with the Ogilvy Group. He began his film career as graphic designer in a locally produced Warner Brothers production in 2003. Turning to writing, directing and editing short films, he was a finalist in both local and international online short film festivals in 2007 and 2008. In 2008, he joined Earth Touch as a film editor and became involved in producing and directing in the field. He was the post-production stereographer and editor on the Earth Touch 3D production “Predator Coast 3D.” In April 2013, he headed up Earth Touch’s Online team and in January 2014 launched the Earth Touch News Network. He has won multiple awards in online media, short film, documentaries and viral videos. He is a published short fiction and speculative fiction writer and a charter member of the African Speculative Fiction Society and its Nommo Awards initiative.
