Biography
Tom Zeller Jr. is an American reporter and writer who has covered science, technology, energy policy, and the environment, among other topics, for a variety of national and international publications — including 12 years on staff as a writer and editor at The New York Times. In 2013, he was awarded a 9-month research fellowship through the Knight Science Journalism Program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he later co-founded Undark, a digital magazine exploring the often fractious intersection of science and society. He currently serves as the publication’s executive editor.
