Join Abbey Alkon to learn about her studies of the effect of environmental exposures on development of the nervous system of children. Alkon’s work has looked at the impact of factors such as overcrowding, poverty, and pesticides on the autonomic nervous system of children, with a particular focus on low income, Latino children and other underserved populations. Alkon is an expert in the assessment of sympathetic nervous system function in children.
