Biography

A native of Utah, Adam Frost received his undergraduate degree in biochemistry at Brigham Young University. He earned his M.D. at Yale School of Medicine and his Ph.D. at Yale University before completing a postdoctoral fellowship at UCSF with Jonathan Weissman. He was assistant professor at the University of Utah before returning to UCSF in 2014 as assistant professor of biochemistry and biophysics. In 2016, he was named a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Faculty Scholar, and in 2017 was selected to join the inaugural group of Chan Zuckerberg Biohub Investigators.
