Biography

Bibi-Aisha Wadvalla is an award-winning South African freelance journalist with an interest in health, science and development. She is currently completing a master’s in public health. Previously, she worked for eNCA and SABC. Her work has appeared on Al-Jazeera, The Guardian, IPS, Nature Middle East, SciDev.net and Daily News Egypt. She has been awarded reporting fellowships from the Reuters Foundation, National Press Foundation, International Women’s Media Foundation and the World Federation of Science Journalists.
