Biography
Diego Pol is head of the science department at the Paleontological Museum Egidio Feruglio (MEF/Conicet), located in Trelew, Chubut, Argentina. In 2011, he led the team that discovered in Patagonia the largest dinosaur ever, the Titanosaur. With more than 70 published papers, he is also known for the discovery of other species such as Lorosuchus, Manidens, Glacialisaurus and Eoabelisaurus. He obtained his doctorate degree at Columbia University in 2005 and worked at the American Museum of Natural History.
