Biography
Kris Hammond is a professor of computer science at Northwestern University and the co-founder of an artificial intelligence company called Narrative Science. He has spent most of his career focused on the problem of making machines smarter. Most recently, he has been looking at ways in which computers and computational thinking can be used to transform the law, medicine and the nature of education. Kris believes in humanizing computers so we can stop the process of mechanizing people. He received his Ph.D. from Yale.
