Biography
Robert Lustig is the director of UCSF’s WATCH program (Weight Assessment for Teen and Child Health). He was raised in Brooklyn, N.Y., and completed his pediatric residency at St. Louis Children’s Hospital, a fellowship at UCSF and a postdoctoral fellowship at Rockefeller University. He’s the editor of “Obesity Before Birth: Maternal and Prenatal Influences on the Offspring” and “Fat Chance: Beating the Odds Against Sugar, Processed Food, Obesity and Disease.”
