Biography

Véronique Morin is the first president of the World Federation of Science Journalists and former president of Science Writers, Communicators of Canada (SWCC). She serves as a judge for numerous science communication and journalism awards. She worked as science reporter and host for TV programs on Quebec’s public TV network, CBC-Radio-Canada, TVOntario, and as a freelance writer and contributor to the Canadian medical journal, University Affairs magazine, NewsDeeply, among others, while pursuing documentary projects on indigenous peoples. She has recently joined Laval University in Quebec City.
