The Program Committee, chaired by Pulitzer Prize–winning science writer Deborah Blum, director of the Knight Science Journalism program at MIT, invites session proposals from any science writer. Please visit the Call for Proposals page for details. Session proposals are due September 30, 2016 at 5:00PM Pacific time.
WCSJ2017 at a glance
The 2017 Latin American Edition of the Jack F. Ealy Science Journalism Workshop will bring together 50 science journalists for a one-day professional development workshop to present practical, hands-on training sessions to sharpen reporting skills on the most pressing science, health and environmental issues in the Western Hemisphere. Open to science journalists from Latin America and the Caribbean. Limited to 60 participants. For more details, see the program listing.
