Is it possible to decolonize science – a serious and thoughtful demand that’s been bubbling up of late, especially in the Global South? Is science captive to its history in the West since the Enlightenment, should we seek a broader history and wider application for the term – or should the peoples of the developing world simply suck it up and accept the status quo? The panel and audience will wrestle with the concept of decolonizing science and hope to emerge with clearer ideas.
